Our approach

Inclusive

Lawrence Community Cycles is a resource for everyone & everybody in our community.

Comprehensive

If you need your bike serviced, want to level up your wrenching or just need a friend, then you’ve found the right place.

Experienced

We love bicycles of all shapes and sizes. If it’s got two wheels then we’ll get it rolling!

Our People

Monzie

One of the last elves to see the Light of the Two Trees. Monzie takes a couple things seriously, like fixing your bike, providing magic and Lawrence Lore™. Kind, funny, etc.

Steve

Steve has like 900 years of bike mechanic experience. I think he told me he was a BMXer growing up but now he can fix any bike and tell you the best Lawrence Lore™ at the same time. He’s very kind.

Riley

Riley’s got an entire airstream trailer full of old bikes that he’s personally saved from the landfill. That almost says it all. He also enjoys brewing and is just the kindest guy.

Bill

Bill is nice, strong, and wise. Bill is kind. Bill can move 400 pounds of bike parts on his hand truck. Bill’s family loves him very much and so do we.

Justin

Justin’s other bike is a pair of bare feet. Enjoys talking and listening. Is he kind? Yeah - kinda goofy.

Jeff

Jeff was adopted by a wild pack of bikes west of K10 at the age of 4. He’s like Buddy the Elf to bikes, if bikes were elves. And around here, we believe bikes are elves. He heals bikes and is kind to the world around him.

YOU!

You could be on here! If you are kind and care about others, you could spend a couple hours a week creating community and solidarity through all things bike.

You don’t even have to know how to work on bikes. That’s like the whole point! I’m not that good at fixing bikes but I made this website because it’s how I can help.

Subscribe to our goofy newsletter below! Do it now! Or at your leisure! See you Tuesday and/or Thursday night!
